As the replacement for the massively successful BTL Gen2 Series, the new BTL-N2 really raises the bar. Utilizing two of the BTL series N48 high grade Neodymium magnets, there is motor force to spare. Keeping the heat out of the coil and the magnets we have an absolutely massive integrated heat sink that also reduces distortion and inductance. Choosing from either the standard 8 layer flatwind coil or the longer high Xmax coil (28mm of Xmax), you can tailor the sub to suit your specific needs. Cut from 1.250" thick 1006 steel plate on one of our 5 multi-axis CNC machines, the steel plates are specifically designed through extensive 3D FEA modeling to channel as much flux to the gap as possible. With key features like our proprietary high emissivity coatings on internal parts, ultra rigid cone, injection molded foamed core dust cap, and integrated lead system the new BTL-N2 brings the BTL series into the future.
