Blade ICE was established in 2002 to meet the needs of the new breed of custom car audio enthusiast.

At the age of 22 I was already addicted to car audio, building and understanding then the complexity's of enclosure design, subwoofer technologies and the sheer thrill of the sound you could produce. Following the industry in my early teens I would collect Car HiFi Magazines (changing to Total Car Audio), attend sound offs wherever possible and read up anything in the latest issue of Max Power and Fast Car Magazines. The internet wasn't global boom it is now! The bass 'bug' bite me at an early age, and found myself wanting to be involved as much as possible.

Before my step into this industry I left school to study Electrical Engineering at College and moving onto HNC. I worked at Alps Electrics (UK) in 1998 to run along side my studies for several years. After 4 years the company had a big restructure moving a mass of its production and manufacturing into mainland Europe with my studies ended at around the same time.. I took this opportunity to fulfil my dream of working in Car Audio full time.

At this time the internet was booming! I would read forums, online magazines and try and attend meets to gain more knowledge. I was lucky enough to make contact with my first supplier in the company name Destijl Eng. and later RE Audio (Resonant Engineering) owner/engineer Scott Atwell in 2001. The company was young but ideas fresh and bold. I was instantly impressed by there work ethic, enthusiasm and desire to be the best. We were affiliated with alot of the decision making of the brand throughout the years which gave us both confidence in the market of car audio to grow and flourish. Releasing the XXX series of drivers early 2003 it went onto be our biggest selling product to date. Things changed few years later and Scott remerged into the industry with Fi Car Audio and purchasing Ascendant Audio 2007, whom Scott Atwell was already the OEM Manufacturing the product, changing the business model from online sales to Dealer/Distributor. Fi Car Audio remains online/direct sales based in the USA, and we followed this trend within UK and our EU partners.

We imported and distributed several brands over the years, RE Audio, Crystal Mobilesound, TRU Technology and US Amps. All these products made it possible for us to gain a wealth of knowledge in both marketing, distributing, after sales and competition.

Throughout the years we built competition winning installs, and sponsoring to date the UKs Loudest ever vehicle of over 171dB (Richard Wilson). As well as supplying to elite competitors with top 3 world ranking positions in dB Drag, we have always been involved in competition either through sponsorship or self built projects.

Having set myself goals over the years my latest mission was to build the biggest, loudest most insane demo vehicle the UK had ever seen – Project Mayhem. In 2007 after purchasing an imported Chevy Astro van I decided to firmly put my money where my mouth is and embark on what some called 'insanity' from all levels.
